I would like to change my air filter before the 30k service. I was thinking around 15K, what do you guys think etc?

Sure, why not. It's cheap and easy to replace.

Well since the filter isn't replaced until Inspection 2 (approx. 60k), I would definately change it sooner if it looks dirty.
