Airbag light -Clock spring or?? Help! Driver airbag resistance too high

Hello All,

I have a 2014 328I that had a moderate collision. I replaced both airbag curtains, driver buckle and belt and driver steering wheel airbag.

Everything cleared but I keep getting a code from my Ethos 93097C Drivers airbag resistance too high.

I swapped out the airbag off another 2016 F30 and the problem persisted. The old airbag didnt cause the airbag light to come on in the 2016 F30 which means its not the airbag.

Can it be the clock spring? How can I check it? I dont want to take it off the car and do a swap if I dont have to. Otherwise Im going to swap clocksprings and see if that clears the fault.
Thanks,
Fred
