Suddenly the alarm (which I have never used and I take to be factory equipment) blares continually. I have to disconnect the battery to silence it. I cannot locate (or have not to date) the noise maker.
I would like to disable this system if possible. Can I simply disconnect the noise maker, assuming I can find it? Any suggestions or information would be appreciated. My manuals have not been any help.

Also, in the process of bumbling with the OBC, in the dark, I seem to have set the security code to some unknown number (I've always avoided this feature as well). Is there some way to reset this?

This has not been a good week.

Disconnect the battery for a period of longer than 30 minutes. The security code will clear out of the obc. The horn is located normally on the drivers side on the shock tower.

Thanks. Does the alarm sound only in connection with the security code function? If so I asumme I can simply disconnect the horn since I don't use the security code.
