Why is the light for my alarm not on? It is on my consult area. Anyone know?

Probably because you don`t HAVE an alarm....they were a dealer-installed option on the E46. And, there`s really no need for one. Use the SEARCH function for this Forum, and review all the alarm threads....

Well, if it did not why would it have the red light on the rear veiw mior? and a red light on consult that blinks? It is a BMW 330i sport 2003.

The Clown Nose (under your mirror) can be programmed by the dealer to blink, along with the parking lights flashing upon locking/unlocking, **giving the appearance** of an active alarm, which is all you need 99.9% of the time.

The red blinking light on your CONSOLE is for the radio, has nothing to do with the alarm.

Ha ha Ha! nice. Ya I want my clown noise to light up. ha ha ha. that it to funny. oh and now I want my lights to go on and off with the key lock. lol thanks!
