Hello. I recently just purchased a 2006 325i. I was looking into installing the Alpine touchscreen multimedia system IVA-D300 to it. Will this system mess up the computer system on board????? Should I install it?

Where would you install it on the BMW? It doesn't have a radio slot to my knowledge.

no, but you will lose all the controls on the steering wheel (for now, until someone develops a kit for it). but wouldn't the new Alpine blocks the vents for air to come out?

That is correct and the radio is a module that is controlled by iDrive or the MID. Neither iDrive or the MID could be removed without eliminating access to multiple functions in the car.
