A friend of my wife's has 4-5 of those in different states of re-conditioning. I know he takes his best one down to Spartansburg every year and shows it off there.

I think the one on e-bay is asking too much, if reserve is not met yet

I think the general public knows the Isetta best as Steve Urkel's car.

Considering the designs that have been coming out of there, I was surprised to see 2 of them displayed at the DesignWorks open house back in January

LMAO at this whole thing, the M68s are hysterical. I see when you slapped those low profile tires on there, you upgraded the breaks to big disks too, well done.

FYI, I'm not dumb enough to actually buy it, but I still think it's pretty damn cool. I was reading about it this afternoon, they made both 3 wheel and 4 wheel models, the 3 wheelers were prone to maintenance issues, it's a 1 cylinder engine, the front panel is also the door and it's top speed is 53mph. SUpposedly anything over 30mph is suicide though.

Al, I'm surprised at you, it kind of looks like a cross between the Mini (which you're a big fan of (me too)) and a jellyfish (which you're also a big fan of). You could drive and snack at the same time....
