Ok, The amber brake light came on in my dash, and I began looking for parts online to replace.

So, after a week or so, the light went back off.

I thought the amber brake light would only come on due to the brake pad sensor being tripped, but I also thought it was a disposable sensor, that would remain 'tripped' until replaced, and computer reset.

Does anyone have any idea what could be going on here?

If its after you shut down its low fluid.

Is it the brake fluid light or the the brake light? As far as amber, that usually means it RECOMMENDED and will soon need to be changed. Red is when it NEEDS to be changed.

I remember when my pads wore down my brake light came on and it would occasionally turn off.
