Has any body put angle eyes (after market) on this car? Was it difficult? Where can I get them?

Tnx,

Thanks for this info Jake!! I had thought that the lights for my 04 vert had to be baked to open, but it looks like this is not the case! I had not installed angel eyes because I did not want to bake my lights. Thanks again for this info!!

Angle eyes on Xenon?

BMW 330ci 2001 convertible Sport package with Xenon head lights

Can I install angle eyes on this car (bacause of the Xenon head lights)? How difficult is that? If you open the head lights from the front area in order to install the angle eyes, does it become unsealed, so later on fog/water etc. could get in to this area?

Tnx,

J.M.

The 04 Convertibles do require baking open however the original post is about an 01 which does not require baking.

Installation on an 01 is pretty straight forward, those headlights are held together with clips and we have an installation guide on our site to help you out. It does not compromise the seal and can be clipped back together to prevent condensation.

You do have to bake it. Facelift coupes need that done. Pre-facelift coupes are the same as sedans.

Jake & Nick,

Oh well, that is what I orig thought. Had not checked the car in the garage since it is covered & cold out. Was nice while it lasted. Thanks for taking the time to correct my error!
