Did you say that Andy is now handling ALL the leather work?

I put some double adjustable Konis on my M Rdtsr, and as a result, had to cut two holes in the topwell liner to accomodate the adjusting tool.

I am concerned that the "blade" you turn for adjustment will damage the top if it rubs against it.

I used a 5/8" Arch Punch for the holes in the liner, so they are not very big and quite neat in appearance.

I'm thinking about a padded leather "patch", maybe 2" in diameter secured with velcro sewn around the hole.

I would like to hear your feedback on this...

I'll work something up, get some pictures of the area in question and send it to you via E-mail.

No hurry, I'll keep a polishing towel over each one for the time being (they're hidden when the top is down anyway).
