So I just want to know am I alone in this .. coz bmw Canada is trying to convince me that my 2020 g20 isn't compatible with Android Auto despite the fact of having live cockpit Professional and idrive 7 production Aug 2019 !!! Hardware incompatible they say

I believe you can go to connected drive and see what’s available for your VIN. I’m in US so I’m not sure if Canada is the same but I speculate it should be 🤷‍♂️

I thought the 3 series supported OTA updates?

You should be able to install the latest update and get AA. All iDrive 7 cars get it.

I had 7/2021.20 installed by dealer already coz I wasn't getting any Ota and still no AA

Canadian 2020 M340iX 04/19 build date. AA and Carplay enabled with 07/20 or 11/20 update.... can't remember which update but well before 7/21. No evidence of any FSC loaded onto iDrive7. I believe BMW Connecteddrive back-end manages licenses.
