Any One Have The E46 M3 Lip Spoiler On There Car....do You Guys Think Its Werth It

THE LIL SPOILER ONTHE BACK OF THE M3'S IS OLS FOR 330'S .... HAVE U INSTALLED IT AND DOES IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE? THANX ALOT

It's purely cosmetic... If it weren't, BMW would (Edit: would NOT - $hit, can't type today) give you the "option" to delete it...

I disagree. The spoiler is on the M3 (which I have) for the Coanda effect. Read R & T, July 2001, pp. 137 - 138. It decreases lift and drag. I believe it will be somewhat effective at anything over 70 mph. I someone with a 330 likes it, and it's purposeful, why not? Big spoilers can be ricey.

BEAUTIFUL CAR! Silver/Cin? Wow, there's gotta be very few around. I've never seen one! Congrats! :thumb:

Now, I really don't think that spoiler is useful. If it were, BMW would NOT give you the "option" to delete it... BMW would be liable if someone had an accident due to increased lift (which could've been avoided by the spoiler)... Remember the early TT coupes?
