I pulled out of the indoor parking deck and the outside temp on the OBC read 68 (it was 91 outside). I crawled in traffic for about 15 minutes and the readout stayed at 68. However, once I pulled onto the highway and kept my speed past 50mph, the readout climbed up to 91. Any ideas? This happen to you?

Here's a guess:

I think the temp sensor is located in the bumper. Since you had the car parked in a cool spot, and crawled in traffic for awhile - it was only when you sped up and the warmer air was forced into the bumper from the air flow, that it began to read correctly.

Yeup, the temp sensor is held in a plastic clip in between the driver's side wheel well and the front bumper. There's not a lot of air flow through there, so ambient temps would last a while... but mine's always adjusted within 10-20 seconds easy.
