Hello
I am about to replace the sealing rings between the exhaust pipe and catalytic converter on the exhaust I have found two rings where the bolts go do i have to remove them first as they seem to be stuck on solid was wondering if they were part of the exhaust
This is on a 1996 750il

The nuts will unbolt from the exhaust manifold. Use some penetrating oil or WD-40 before you start. Let it soak in a bit.
