BM dealerships are now using 0w30 on newer models for oil change.
Has anyone tried that oil grade (0w30) for an e39?
Any change on gas consumption or performance?
I have an 02 540i. I live in the North East, with nomal winter&normal summer.
Also, has anyone tried mobil1 Ext Performance oil even though it doesn't specify that it could be used for european cars?
The feedback on any other car makes are great. I'm tempted, but I also found Penzoil Ultra Euro L specifically made for BMW and Merc Benz. The safer road might be maybe Penz. Any solid feedback on how these two compare?
