Have a friend in NY state who's car died shortly after fillup (Acura TSX). A fuel sample confirmed bad gasoline (milky white appearance).
The dealer has said repairs are likely to top $800, and of course this isn't covered by warranty.
Questions:
-What types of long-term effects (if any) should he be on the lookout for?
-Without warranty coverage, what recourse, if any, does he have to recover the repair costs (isn't gas station liable)?
Anyone have experience with this?
Thanks!
