Yep. I've been using Mobil 1 for several years now, and have wondered at several points if I was just throwing money away. That article just reinforced my beliefs. I won't be second guessing myself anymore.:thumb:

that picture of the dino-oil after some time in the cold was nasty. something precipitated out.
while i'm sure for non-demanding engines conventional motor oils are fine, after seeing what happens to those oils at the extremes of cold and heat: it was shocking.
i don't even think i want to use conventional oil anymore in our sports useless vehicle.
