Anyone Refinish their Coupe Sub Enclosure

My stock sub enclosure has gotten scratched over theyears. Has anyone resinished it to look like new. I am afraid to get get a can of spray paint and have at it. I would like it to look like new.

Cover the whole thing in black leather or Alcantara? Would solve the scratch problem but it won't be OEM.
Some of the SEM interior paints look OK. Probably just sand it and spray... flat black I assume. You could get a professional painter to do it if concerned.
