cant imagine that being too difficult. have not done it myself but should be DIY.

OK, I don't really mean any criticism, but what is the source of those oily-looking drips on the wiper mechanism?

How is your hood opened up? I thought all bimmers opened up at the front. i.e. you wouldn't be able to see that much of the windshield with the hood up.

pretty easy install, total time about 1hr. You've got to take out the cabin air filter housing on both sides. be sure not to pull that wire loom too much.

Once you pull all that stuff out, the following steps are self evident.

Thanks guys. Not oil however,just some residual water running backwards down the hood. The photo was taken here in Columbia,SC. after driving through a bit of a storm. Note the water on the wind screen.I wanted to see how nasty the engine compartment got from driving the wagon through some deep standing water and found the "gasket" material a bit askew.Moving it back in place produced a big chunk in my hand.
