Are the Halo Lights Stock or Option?

I'm looking at getting my first BMW (328i sedan). Are the halos stock or do you need to get the xeon light package to get the halos? I'm not sure if you do or the xeon just adds the HID look to the halos and headlights...

You need to get xenon to have the halo rings. Otherwise the drh will look quite stupid.

I've seen halos with the HID look. And then I've seen halos with the standard yellow light look. That's why I thought you can get the halos without the xeon lights... Thanks.

Those were the older generation halos on older cars.
