I read on e46fanatics that the 11th digit in the 17 digit VIN denotes the assembly plant. My last 7 digits read as PF*****. Anyone know what assembly plant this is? I think F is Dingolfing.
Thanks. I have a 2002 325xi. :dunno:

The F does not represent the plant, it is part of your serial number. The plant designation is number 11 in the string, I would bet that yours will be "G" for Regensberg. That were I believe most xi's are assembled:dunno:

Mine has a "P" and it's made in Regensburg.
