I've used auto rx with really good success on my Saab that is notorious for sludge, my brother used it on his Volvo and said it stopped the oil consumption, it 's supposed to decarbon the rings and it has appeared to do so on the volvo. my 525i has 100k on it and I'm planning on doing a couple treatments, anyone tried it and what was your result.I,m new to the forum- great place to be if you have a bimmer.

I have used it on the 960 Volvo I owned for years. Haven't ried it on my 525. When I changed my valve cover gasket, my engine was shiney clean and didn't feel that I needed to use the stuff in this engine. When using Auto RX, the engine should have regular dyno oil instead of synthetic oil in the crankcase. If you use the stuff in your car, get back to us and let us know how it works out.
