Automatic Hold (A Hold)

Is anyone aware of a coding option to remove the requirement for the seat belt to be engaged before allowing for "Auto Hold" to be engaged?

I would like to be able to start car, disengage the parking break (ie hit the A-hold button), then start driving. Once underway I put on my seat belt.

Automatic Hold

Hi,

Can we code the Automatic Hold ( A Hold) to Auto On, so if we start the engine and the automatic hold is always on ?

Not that I know of. It may be there though, undiscovered.
In Kombi there is a predrive ahold setting that is set to not active, I would guess if you set it to active it should start the car with automatic hold. I will give it a try tomorrow.

If it's sitting in Kombi...more than likely it's the pre-test of the system and temporary initiation of the indicator in the cluster. I would expect for you to see the "A-Hold" indicator come up in the Kombi during the start-up procedure rather than it automatically activating A-Hold. These are just my thoughts, don't let them stop you from giving it a try.

Yep, you were right. That is all it did.

I will keep looking.
