Second time that my barrel lock.

First time I changed all the locks on the car including the barrel to get a full set of keys.

Its only a year later definitly dont want new keys or pay that much again.:yikes:

Is it posible to get the barrel replaced without replacing all your locks and keys.

PLS advice :)

Yeah thats no worries!

I replaced my barrel lock on my glove box about 6 months ago when I had my e30.

Basically, get your new lock and insert you existing key. You will see on the outside the metal feelers are not flush with the actual barrel. Just file away at the feelers till the are all exactly flush with the barrel (so you have a smooth round barrel) it is important that ALL the feelers sit EXACTLY flush in order for the lock to work.

Im not sure if power locks are the same (if you have them). I have only just got my e36, so I am not exactly the guru of them! Try e36 Phantom - Always a good help!
