I like all the Aliexpress accessories sold with that dinavin at Hilton prices. That's hilarious. 🤣
Apparently there is just a partial hate for Chinese built stuff... if it's a known brand made in China, then it's ok, if it's not known but sold by a fancy speaker door salesman out of US then it's better, if he also answers dumb questions over the phone, then it's perfect.
I don't support Chinese nor cheap products. I usually look for the best price/quality product, regardless where it's coming from and if there's is or isn't a guy to answer dumb s..t on the phone, I DON'T CARE as I don't ask that.
I live in EU and for me those are not that important as rule are clear here, it has 2 years warranty. If the product is faulty they fix it or replace it.
After that, it's your issue if it breaks down.
YOU break it during the 2 years because you wired it wrong or spilled you coffee or whatever you drink when you have a picnic in the front seats of you car, again, your issue. This is to protect the sellers against Karens that are stupid and ignorant and break their stuff and then DEMAND a replacement because customer is always right.
It depends what you want from the HU.
If you HQ sound go with a double din Kenwood, Alpine, JVC, Sony... they all have better build quality but are STILL built in China.
Looks like crap but has good sound and you're limited to android auto or IPhone auto.
You want 100% OE look and fitment, go with the AVIN Avant.
Hopefully you know something about android and know how to spec it.
If you go with anything below 4GB, regardless of the brand it will be a lemon-lime.
Down side of AVIN is that is pricey. It uses the same Chinese boards as all of them, but has better build quality but the guy that answers the phone if you don't know how to use the unit is not great from what I've heard.
Use Dinavin if you want you dash to look like clothes dryer spoiler on a Honda Civic and pay big bucks for aliexpress accessories. But hey, in that price you get a great guy who answers you questions if you don't know how to use your HU.
All the others Xtrons, Eonon and so on are simply copies of each other.
Similar build quality and a crappy to no guy to answers dumb questions if you don't know how to use your HU.
Xtrons would be a bit better and is also recommended over on the I-bus forums. They had EU offices in the UK in the times when UK was still EU, now I don't know as I don't use customer support and warranty is long gone.
I own my Xtrons for almost 8 years now. Works flawlessly with I-bus.
The Resler interface (I-bus) gives you nice upgrades on your car.
If it wouldn't have been for import tax probably would have went for a AVIN Avant just for the OE fitment.
I don't care about the sound as I mostly listen at low volume and my ears are not so fine tuned.
With I-bus you have the option to use your DSP if you car is equipped for a 1 time fee and a special cable.
Now let the hate unleash upon myself🤣
