2011 328i overheated on the freeway. Engine shut off and had to get it towed. 95% confident its the water pump, so I am looking to replace the water pump and thermostat myself. I know pierburg is a good brand as well as behr for the thermostat, but are there any other notable brands to look out for in buying the parts? I understand if you dont get a reliable brand then the pump will just go out again, so I want to get it right the first time. Can any OEM-approved part be used? Thanks guys.

^This.
While you at it, replace all coolant hoses and coolant reservoir and Mickey Mouse flange. Use aluminum flange.

If not, replace reservoir and flange.

If not, you will be stuck at hwy again.
