When we did Raffi's XM Direct install, we routed the wiring from the right side of the head unit area, behind the storage compartment, over the steering wheel, then under the door sill trim to the rear seat, under the rear seat cushion and through an existing cable pass-through into the trunk. It was a pain in the azz!

Snake it

We have run many wires in a few Roadsters from front to back.We find that the Fiber glass snake works well,We also have used a small solid wire(steel)bailing wire. The snake with some Pamolive soap on it(KY)the end! This Snake can be had at Lowes,Home Depot, ect.
When I installed my stereo (m)

I ran the wires down the center arm rest/tranny tunnel.
Under the rear HK Sub enclosure.
Through the wiring access driver side hole, next to the rear shock mount.
That is the easy way - sort of!

Of course all the wiring is hidden under the carpet or trim pieces.
Have fun!
