Ok, I have to decided to reword this even though phantom may have helped me.

So I went to my car to start it. I turned the key to the on Position, i then proceeded to turn the key back to the off position. Once I did this my car (all electronics stayed on)
and now my key will not turn so I had to disconnect the battery so it would not die.

Any Ideas would be helpful

(Pantom Ill still try your idea)

Cheers,

Devlin

The little plastic pieces that make the system work right deteriorate over time, just buy a new one. There are DIYs for how to replace the ignition tumbler on bimmerdiy.com.
