It seems that this company has come up with a way to mass-produce a retrofit kit to make diesel cars run on leftover grease from restaraunts. I heard about someone creating a contraption that did this about a year ago, but this is the first time I've heard of such a kit for sale. It sells for about $800 US.

Some restaraunts already sell their leftover grease to companies that make products that require it, so it wouldn't be free... but it is an interesting alternative nonetheless. I wonder how reliable it is?

my chem eng. prof pioneered much of it..

i was an undergrad still when he announced it to the world. i never took much notice of it back then. apparently he's still trying to start his own company that does nothing but biodiesel.
