ideas? anyone else have this issue?

of course i plan to call the dealer in the morning but just curious if this is a common failure.

Just had mine replaced at the dealership today. I have 11K miles on my car when it failed.

thanks, the wife will be thrilled. should i expect every 15k miles or so replacement intervals?

per workorder. "replaced blower motor controller, tested function, complaint corrected"

what does that mean in normal people speak?

i do see where they list cause as "blower resistor short circuit"

It should still work on the max setting when it bypasses the resistor.
