Not to beat a dead horse (a VERY dead horse), but the E65 is going to have a hard time making those gains in the long run.

Still, it should be a very interesting battle. A lot of new BMW models coming out over the next few years, featuring different styling and (we hope) superior dynamics...coming up against some new Benzes, featuring evolutionary styling (stunningly attractive if somewhat derivative) and cushier dynamics.
