BMW E36 1997. Vibration while pulling (accelerating) around 50 km/hr. Bad noise between 80-100 km/hr while stepping on the accelerator for increasing speed while the engine is at about 2500-3000 RPM. Upon releasing the accelerator pedal the noise diminishes remarkably. Putting hand on the gear stick does not give any feeling of vibration. No blur due to any vibration is detected through the inside rear view mirror. Estimated diagnosis would be due to a bad differential box or a bad transmission axle. What do you think?
