I purchased the BMW front sunshade from pacific. granted, it's a bit pricey but it is very well made and fits the window perfectly. it comes with a handy storage pouch as well but it's a little difficult to get in and out so I'll probably just store the shade in the pouch durring the winter and fall.

with the sunshade in place and the sunroof popped at the rear (shade closed), the car is noticibly cooler after a long stay in the parking lot at work. this is good because it takes the A/C less time to catch up when jumping back in the car to go out to lunch. it was a little tricky getting the shade in place the first couple of times due to the tight fit but once I got the hang of it it's not bad.

I haven't posted here in a while because I've been posting on miataforum.com as I just purchased a low mileage 1st gen 1.6 miata. lots of cheep and effective mods for that car. I'm probably gonna pull the head and have it shaved to bump the compression among other things (like you guys really care ;) ).

That was the first thing I bought for my car! Got it from Pacific BMW as my stealership was out of stock (luckily!). It's amazing, and definitely a must-have over here. I don't use it that much now coz I have covered parking at work, but when I park under the sun, I almost use it 100% of the time. just 15 minutes under the sun in Texas can really heat up your car and your steering wheel! :)

oh btw, other BMW catalogs like BavAuto has one that's exactly the same but without "BMW" on it, same price though. I didn't know about that, otherwise I would've gotten the other one. Same thing with my BMW Car Cover, I had no idea it has a HUGE "BMW" on the front, pretty stupid.
