Hi all,

A few weeks ago I was persuaded by the finance dept to get the BMW extended maintenance plan on my 2020 330i lease (36 months / 12k miles per year). The plan cost $1,600 for 3 years. The plan covers pads, rotors, external drive belts, clutch discs, wiper blades and any adjustments required due to normal operating conditions. It looks like more is excluded than included. I know that I have 60 days to cancel this agreement since I live in California, however, are there any pros to keeping this or is it best to move forward with the cancellation?

Thanks!

You could talk to service and get a maintenance interval schedule. That would give you an idea of what you will need and when you’ll need it.

You can ask them to quote certain things and add up a 3 year tally. If it ends up being close to 1600$ then I would keep it.
