When I had the wood trim, I used Invisible Glass to clean it. I think any glass cleaner would do the trick in removing fingerprints, smudges, etc.

Lots of people use Zymol products to clean their interior (vinyl and leather).

Since the wood has heavy coats of acrylic on it treat it like paint.

the only thing i hate about those vinyl/leather cleaners is the smell of the product. I think it kind of overruns the natural smell of the leather.

since someone mentioned to treat the wood trim as paint, does that mean waxing it also does the trick? Sounds interesting.

Try Griot's Garage Interior cleaner. Works wonders, treats vinyl, leather, and UPHOLSTERY...I left some pretty nasty oil/dirt/grim stains on Raffi's car when I was working on it and the GGI took care of it.

And it's scentless. At first I thought its just water, but man water does not clean like this.

On any of the trim pieces (aluminum, wood, gloss, titanium, carbon fiber...etc) just use water or GGI on it, and wax it afterwards. Works well.

best stuff for headliner stains...

Fantastic Citrus Cleaner works dope on plastic neer your feet . . . doors . . .just all the plastic in general . .
I have a grey interior, so spots annoy me.

The citrus cleaner gets it out quite well.

I just had my windshield replaced recently and the installer left three awful grease/grime/glue smudges on the gray portion of the headliner along the a pillars. They came right of with Griott's Interior Cleaner and a paper towel.

Yeah, well - what are you going to do when the windshield has a 12" crack that is growing? Actually, I suspect if the dealer did such repairs, it would not have been botched with stains. They have been pretty good so far. This was done by an auto glass replacement business that comes to you - with special order original equipment. Which reminds me - well, different topic. I will put it in a new thread.
