I replaced my heater hoses. There are two clamps that hold the hoses to the body to keep the hoses away from the drive shaft and steering shaft. Any ideas on where to get these clamps, what they are, and if there is another way to hold the hoses in proper position that won't wear through the hose?

I transferred the old clamps from the old hose. The clamps wrap around one of the hoses (hoses are molded together) and push onto the motor mount bracket with a one way spring gripper. The clamps failed are do not seem to be re-usable. They grip ok but the plastic has broken away from the steel spring.

My hoses are re-installed and coolant is filled. I'd prefer not to have to remove the hoses as this job was a giant PITA. I can only reach one of the clamps.

I hope someone knows what I am referring to.

I just bought this car and it is my first BMW. I have replaced the thermostat and water pump and every hose. The hoses are 12 years old and were oil soaked.

Thank you.

Realoem dot com to find the part numbers. Then search FCPeuro, eBay, etc.
