Once my order arrives, I suspect that I'll have little use for the "Owners' Circle". Until then, I figure if it updates my status, then the car is even closer than the website thinks....thaydith said:

Owners Circle is never accurate, the are no accurate pictures of cars, and there is hardly any good info pertaining to model year changes.![]()

hahaha, maybe you have two? :yikes:larhode said:The order tracking feature is very out dated. My car arrived at my dealership last friday. Today (monday) I checked owners club site and it says my car is still at the VPC !!
Well I can definitely vouch for our firewall being the bottleneck - it slows EVERYTHING down. Damn ITS nut jobs... for a while we were blocked from viewing theonion.com!! =)TranceLvr said:Not to revive a dead topic, but has anyone else noticed that the owners circle goes much faster from home than from work? I am guessing that going through a proxy server at work is causing the slow speed.

Very slim; it's the 3rd fallback tire BMW has (i.e. it would take a stock shortage of Conties and Dunlops before the Michs would be used).thaydith said:What is the chance the car will ship with the Piolets anyway?
I got lucky. A BMWNA customer service manager contacted me proactively and offered to switch my tires for me at the VPC. It only took an extra day for them to make the swap, I assume it was just a wheel+tire swap as opposed to a tire mount/dismount type procedure.thaydith said:WOW - that's good info to know I'm calling Monday. Do you think it will be help up at the VPC at all if I have the tires changed?
Thanks!
