Once my order arrives, I suspect that I'll have little use for the "Owners' Circle". Until then, I figure if it updates my status, then the car is even closer than the website thinks....thaydith said:Can someone please tell me if there is even one good use for that POS site!!! Owners Circle is never accurate, the are no accurate pictures of cars, and there is hardly any good info pertaining to model year changes.
Well I can definitely vouch for our firewall being the bottleneck - it slows EVERYTHING down. Damn ITS nut jobs... for a while we were blocked from viewing theonion.com!! =)TranceLvr said:Not to revive a dead topic, but has anyone else noticed that the owners circle goes much faster from home than from work? I am guessing that going through a proxy server at work is causing the slow speed.
I got lucky. A BMWNA customer service manager contacted me proactively and offered to switch my tires for me at the VPC. It only took an extra day for them to make the swap, I assume it was just a wheel+tire swap as opposed to a tire mount/dismount type procedure.thaydith said:WOW - that's good info to know I'm calling Monday. Do you think it will be help up at the VPC at all if I have the tires changed?
