Brake replacements aren't under warranty rite ?

they are wear products....so they aren't covered under warranty huh?



...but replacing costs $1100 at stevens creek's bmw... is that normal ?

They're covered under the maintenance warranty, if applicable to your car.

It should definitely be covered under the maintenance warranty; do you have the warranty booklets that came with the owner's manual package? You may even be able to download it from the Owner's Circle, but I'm not positive on that.
I just called claridge's bmw.... they told me that it was covered under warranty....so i scheduled an appointment for this saturday... thanx guys!

holy crap what's costing $1100 bucks!

i could replace all 4 rotors and brand new BMW brake pads for under $400 for parts including plastilube! please don't tell me they are charging $700 on labor because me and my friend can change the fronts in about 45min!

stevenscreek is a complete rip off stay away from them. claridge is better but still not great.
