Make sure all the wheels on the ground are chocked before releasing the parking brake. You may also need to back off the parking brake adjusters if there is a small ridge in the rotor hat caused by the parking brake shoes.i have a manual tran

Keep it all clean; and give the hub face a light smear of antisieze paste before the new rotors go on.

True story, my first BMW brake job had this happen. Thankfully mine came off and when I heard the Boinnnng! sound from the springs and parking brake shoes, I realized what I had done. :banghead:You are not an idiot my friend. We've all been there. .
Lol, "Technical Tap" FTMFW!lol had the same problem get something really heavy. like an axe. hit it with the butt. will come right off.
yea i was using a hammer and it just didnt want to come off no matter how hard i tried. then i said f' it. it was one hitter quitter on all 4 rotors with the ax lol.Lol, "Technical Tap" FTMFW!
