I'm looking at a car that's about 1200 miles away. New. I don't believe I'll be traveling out to visit it beforehand.

What steps should I take to make sure the car is in good condition? It'll be covered by BMW, so anything that's actually wrong will, of course, be covered.

What advice can you give?

Well, I also just closed a deal on a car from half way across the country (this is my second one so far). To be honest, as long as the car is brand new, there isn't much you need to worry about. Anything that happens will get fixed anyway by your local dealer.

No inspection (it's a brand new car). I'm planning to drive down (since I'm trading my current ride) and picking it up. I'm not a big fan of using auto transports. Plus, I love making a road trip out of it.
