My fellow 7ers - first off, Happy New Year!

Question: in the process of finding a reputable source for our low beam headlight replacement and figured it would be a good time to upgrade/change the fogs as well. Not so motivated to do an HID conversion but interested to know if there's a mfg that makes an H3 55w that's close in temp/brightness as our headlight (IIRC, 4300k). Or is that even possible for an H3 to be close in light output as the D2S stock lumen bulb?

Thanks fellahs!

hoen endurance bulbs are very good in matching, I had a pair on another car and they looked better than the regular bulbs. For the lowbeams, you best bet would be those philips ultinon bulbs (spelling is wrong), those are the best in the industry and provide the best light output.

Thanks for the input fellahs!

For those that search for key words:

Stock fogs are H3 55 watt bulbs.

Stock Headlight (low beam) are D2S bulbs.

Back to fogs - like Sylvania/Osram is on the higher shelf as well as PIAA's from my readings. Price variance are huge from site to site - gotta really put in work when price scrubbing. Even when shopping stock D2S bulbs. Anywhere from 70 bones a pair to few hundred.

Hope that helps,

You da man, Diz! Thanks for the visual! Do you 'member where you got them from?

FWIW - found a source in Atlanta called "Automod Atlanta" that has great customer service and knows their lighting.
