Camera malfunction m440i

Brand new car, with 9k on it now. I keep it clean, inside and out. All systems worked well at 1:00 this afternoon when I parked the car in the shade. At 5:00, I started it, put it in reverse and got the message 'Camera Malfunction'. No image on the screen other than the message. No backup camera, no 3d, carwash image, parking camera, etc.. I have shut down and restarted the car and even ran it through the car wash i always go to, in case something was "dirty".

It's under warranty, of course. However, if there is a software reset that could correct this, I'd like to know about it. If anyone else has a similar camera system, with 360 degree view, I'd be interested in hearing if you have had similar problems.
