Car drives rough

198 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  bmwx3e83
When I replaced the front struts , the car drove OK. A few weeks later I replaced the rear shocks and now the car drives real rough unless on a highway. It feels like a mountain Jeeb. I feel like moving and bouncing in the car all the time while driving.
I know the new shocks and struts are not the best but despite the damage of two of the old struts, one on the front and one on the back, the car had been driving smoother than now with the new ones installed.

Never heard of them. That's potentially bad news. But at least now you know how to replace them.

One of the first videos I remember seeing when deciding to replace front struts. Not saying this is your issue...take off the struts and shocks and check they haven't locked up. (they can compress and rebound properly)

Hopefully you're still in the return window for Amazon.
