I'm in need of help this issue is starting to get frustrating I have a 2004 530i. I've recently changed the water pump, the upper coolant hose, and the reservoir expansion tank. It doesn't leak coolant anymore but it still says its overheating, and if I ignore it then all my coolant will run out. What is the problem? Also my engine fan it making a weird noise when it clicks on as if it's rubbing up against something,it's very high pitched. What could that be? My final question is how can I get my radio to come on? As of right now it comes on when ever it feel like it someone told me it could be the ccc, but I don't know what that stands for please HELP!!

With regard to the overheating issue, you don't mention the thermostat. Has it been changed? That should be first item to look at.

I have not gotten around to do that I'm suppose to change that next week

If the car is overheating, I wouldn't drive it in that condition. Good way to fry that m54b30!

If you're losing coolant, it's leaking somewhere.

Have the coolant system pressure tested. Hopefully it's an external leak.

Make sure the rad fan is not hitting the radiator itself, causing it to leak.

If the rad fan is hitting the radiator how can I make it stop and I have no coolant leaks now everything is still full

Find the noise. And, change the thermostat. It is standard practice to change thermostat when changing water pump.
