CD Changer Skipping - Normal?

I've had my 330xi for about a month now and the dealer installed CD changer still skips over every expansion joint in the road. Is this normal? My dealer claims it is, but every other car I've been in with a CD player/changer does not skip nearly this much. I could understand skipping on a pothole, but under normal driving, this should not happen? How do I convince the dealer to replace the changer? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Aside from that, loving the car! It's so fantastic.
