Hi all,

Just bought my first 6, its a 2005 630 coupe, can't wait to collect it on saturday.
The spec on the car says it has CD changer preparation...did a changer not come as standard on the car? Its got what looks to be a single CD slot in the front and the nav-dvd slot, but couldn't see a changer. Where would the changer be on the 6, or is it integrated in the dash?
Also, is it possible to update the software in the i-drive to the most recent one, if so, how do I do this?
Sorry if these are daft questions but as I said, this is my first 6 series.

If it has the Premium Sound Logic 7 the CD changer is in the glove box.

Under Entertainment settings, Tone, there will be an option for surround sound, theater or concert hall. You can get there with your iDrive control....Let me know what you find out. I am looking for a CD changer as well for my 2008 550i.
