Was your car built before or after 3/02?

In either case, I would look up Martin Bishot at bimmernav.com. If your car is newer than that he'll sell you the most up to date kit. If your car is older than that then he'll sell you the modified kit. In either case, it's going to be less than $800.

I just went through an upgrade on my E39 in the UK, BMW said it wasn't BT prepped, however Martin at Bimmernav insisted it was..and he was spot on. A few teething problems but with Martin's assistance the conversion was excellent. I had a fixed Motorola V50 which I have converted to BT...I can only say Bimmernav were excellent...oh yes and by the way BMW in the UK wanted anywhere between £1600 and £2700. Cost in the end around £300. Thanks to Martin at Bimmernav again. :thumbup:
