Mine E34 slotting 17" AcS Type 1 .
Do i need / is it important , to add centric hub to reduce vibration if using big wheels????:dunno:

i think there must be a reason for using centric hub. or else they wont manufacturing a product with no purpose.

they center the wheel.
e34s are designed as hubcentric cars, that is, the lug bolts are to clamp the wheel to the hub, not to position it.

sans rings they tend to be just enough off to vibrate

a while back I jnstalled some after market wheels with no hub centric rings drove great no viberations, for a week. One day I am driving and as soon as I hit 55 it started to shake rattle and roll. Installed the hub rings and all was good.
I just got some style 19's (74mm hub the e34 has 72.5mm hubs) and new hub centric rings . My advice is if USE THEM !! they are cheep and will ,as attack eagle center the wheel.
You wouldn't think a thin litte ring would make a diffrence , but they do so to answer YES they are important

Correct. Also with the space between the hub and wheel things could be moving around enough to loosen, or worse fatigue the bolts
