I have to say that it looks pretty good. It has very nice lines.

Ahh..stuff like this makes me proud to be russian We didn't ever produce any good cars, but at least we've got brains to know that BMW rocks

Several years ago I've read about a similar car done with an M3 engine. Body was the same, I believe.
Probably the guy was not satisfied with a lowly M3's engine in that HEAVY car, so he got himself a 5 liter... ( I'm just speculating here )

I can't speak Polish, but I think the three pics at the bottom of that article are of the car you mention. It says something about a BMW 6 cylinder, and the car is clearly different.

I'd like to find a Zil 117 and bring it over to use as a daily driver. Finding parts might be hard, though.

I don't speak polish either, but probably you're right, that's the one.

And about that dream-car of your's, I don't think you'd need spare parts.
If something brakes, get your hammer out and pummel it until it works again :lmao:
Or, for a bottle of vodka some russian mechanic could MAKE you the needed spare part
