Lol.. no, I want to replace it but don't know exactly what I have to do to get to it.

So the switch isn't working correctly or is bypassed, allowing you to start the car without the clutch engaged.

Thank you for trying to understand the issue before professing a solution Yes, it is not working properly. I have to literally mash down the clutch to get the starter to engage. So I got a new switch from the interwebs and want to install it.

Just take a look under the carpet behind the pedals. It's pretty easy to find from what I've read. You can either tinker with it to see if it needs some sort of adjustment or replace it entirely.

If you know anyone with NCS Expert & the right cable, they can bypass the clutch safety lockout in software .

So you'll possibly forget sometime and mash the front end of your car into a concrete barrier?

What is the drawback to having this working properly?
